Can a Planetary Health Label contribute to healthy and sustainable diets?

This survey is part of a master's thesis research at the University of Graz and is supervised by Prof. Dr. Ilona M. Otto. It explores the potential of a Planetary Health Label to promote healthy and sustainable diets.

Thank you for participating in this survey!

This survey explores your food choices and how a Planetary Health Label could influence them.

Completing the survey will take about 5 minutes.
To participate in this survey, you must be at least 18 years old.

Healthy people can only thrive on a healthy planet. Planetary Health describes the close connection between the health of our planet and human well-being.

The health of our planet can be assessed using the Planetary Boundaries. These include, for example, climate change, biodiversity loss and water usage.

A Planetary Health Label reflects a product's impact on these boundaries, indicating whether it contributes to respecting or exceeding these critical limits.

Our dietary habits play an important role in this. A diet that is healthy for both humans and the planet emphasizes plant-based foods like vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes and nuts and can be supplemented with moderate amounts of animal-based products.

By participating, you are contributing to a healthier world!
