The aim of this survey is to serve as a starting point for a project, which aims to promote queer inclusivity at the Insitute of Biology. Together, we will develop alternative terminology and conceptual frameworks for teaching and describing plants, while maintaining scientific accuracy and precision.
Please answer the questions of this survey to the best of your knowledge and belief using the following scale:

Your participation is voluntary and anonymous, which means that your personal details cannot be traced back to you. Access to the personal data provided (function/department) is restricted to authorized personnel, and your information will be used exclusively for scientific purposes within the scope of this project.
Completing (or not completing) the survey during a course will not affect any of your evaluation/grade.
The study data consists of the anonymous responses collected via our LimeSurvey tool, including the selected options and free-text responses. The collected data is stored on secured servers and evaluated in accordance with the data protection guidelines of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Compliance with ethical standards has been reviewed and confirmed by the Ethics Committee. The data will be retained until the end of the project on August 31, 2027. Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties.
You have the right to withdraw from the study at any time, without providing a reason and without any negative consequences. However, once the questionnaire has been submitted, it is not possible to delete the data (after revoking consent) as the data cannot be traced back to a specific person.
